Mirit Weinstock is a bit of a Renaissance woman with a storied, expressionistic education. She worked alongside Alexander McQueen and Alber Elbaz honing her fashion skills, and started her own clothing label in 2004. In 2011 Mirit launched her jewelry brand at Colette in Paris, and within her evolving collections she visits recurring themes of surrealism, childhood motives and the natural world. She brings a poetic sensibility with a touch of humor to pieces made of raffia fibers, gold and silver, as well as porcelain, feathers, eyelashes and glass. She’s also a multi-medium artist with a Masters in Fine Arts. Her most recent solo art exhibition “Love Does(nt) Exist” was curated in Tel Aviv by the Musee du Louvre’s head of contemporary art in 2015. She splits her time between Paris and Tel Aviv.
