Le Feu de L'eau
Translated as The Fire of the Water, Le Feu de L’eau candles, created by makeup artist Jo Strettell and designer / illustrator Wendy Polish, are inspired by the “fantasy candle” of the ‘60s. Their dramatic candle-making process ‘breaks the mold’ so to speak: the formless candles are made in their unique, organic shapes by rushing currents of water pouring over high temperature soy wax, creating the world’s first mold-less candle.
