Rachel Comey

Between the bold, innovative silhouettes, and unique array of textures found in Rachel Comey’s collections, it’s not hard to believe the designer began her career as a sculptor. Once graduating art school, Rachel Comey first found work creating on-stage costumes for New York City musicians before starting a small line of menswear in 2001. Quickly, the venture was a success. So much so she added womenswear and accessories into the mix just a few seasons later. In just four the years, the line grew into a cult-favorite amongst the independent design elite. She eventually steered further into the lane of womenswear and remains making four collections a year that continue to inspire. The brand has grown to global proportions, but remains true to the core aesthetic found in it's roots- eclectic, feminine, and powerful.
