Emily Johnson

Dreams and meditations within the landscape of nature are what inspire Emily Johnson’s paintings.  Her rural Missouri upbringing informs the context while her fine art studies at the Kansas City Art Institute and background in graphic design inspire her technique.  However, it is ultimately her intuition and innate sense of connection with the world around her, real and imagined, that bring to life her beautiful explorations of form and color on canvas and paper.
