Anaak designer Marissa Maximo has a studied background in painting and textile design, and is a nomadic traveler whose sensibility encompasses not only a deep appreciation for global cultures, but also for empowering creative artisans in India, Bolivia and beyond in maintaining ancient textile techniques using sustainable, ethical practices. The result is a contemporary collection inspired by the ‘inherent ease and approachability of bohemé dressing.'
